Auto Show

This Sunday we decided to head out to the Chicago Auto Show!  We went last year, and Ryan and I were marvelling at how much Gavin has changed in a year.  Last year, our trip to the Auto Show was the first time Gavin rode in his stroller without the carseat snapped in.  He slept most of the time and we had to stop for 2 bottle breaks.  This year, Gavin is walking, talking, trying to escape his stroller, and snacking on teddy grahams while trying to high five everyone that passed us!

Once again, we had a good time at the Auto Show, even though we chose to go on the last day and it was insanely busy!  We got to hop in a lot of SUVs and yes, mini vans (I hate to say it, but I may have to swallow my pride someday and get a van, those things are so roomy and have so many fun toys!  But for now I will fight soccer mom status and stick to my family sedan :)  We got some great exercise, enjoyed a day out of the house when cabin fever keeps getting worse and worse, and Gavin had the chance to flirt with some young ladies.  So all in all, a good day!  Here's some pics from our trip!

Gavin decided the only way to check out these cars was to get up close and personal.
Every good car inspection involves poking the headlights.
Yes, Gav is kissing this SUV.  It's not that Gavin is in love with the GMC Acadia, it's that he is in love with the super cute baby he sees in it!
Gav has not mastered holding Mommy's hand while walking in public, so I had to resort to the hoodie leash.
That is the look of a stinker.  A cute stinker, but still a stinker :)
Trying to escape from the stroller.  I didn't think he was going to make it....
...I was wrong!
Trying to get a yoga session started near the Honda exhibit.
Gav and Mommy give Daddy the evil eye.
Still not too old for a nap in the stroller!
